Good news for Rumphi: the Georg Kraus Stiftung, a charitable foundation for development cooperation, is supporting our first project. This means a safe, inclusive outdoor area can now be built at Little Stars kindergarten.
The plans include a shaded shelter with 40 seats, swings – among them a round swing that children with disabilities can use too – a playhouse, a climbing frame, a sandpit, water in the outdoor area and mango and orange trees. Local craftsmen will build it.
We warmly thank the foundation for its trust. We will report on the progress here.
