This is an English translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Controller

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by a hosting provider in the EU under a data processing agreement. When you visit, the server automatically stores technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). This is needed to run the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics or tracking services. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google. We embed no maps, videos or social media feeds; links to social networks are plain links.
4. Contact form, get-involved form and email
When you write to us, we process your details (name, email address, message) to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Forms are sent to us by email and not stored on the website. We delete the data once it is no longer needed.
5. Membership applications
For membership we process your name, postal address, email address and, optionally, phone number to assess your application and manage your membership (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). When membership ends, we delete the data unless legal retention periods apply.
6. Donations
For a bank transfer we receive the details from your bank (name, IBAN, amount, reference). We use them for bookkeeping and donation receipts (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR) and keep them for the periods required by tax law (usually 10 years).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the North Rhine-Westphalia data protection commissioner.
